KISHTWAR, Jan 14: Chinar Power Project Workers’ Union (CPPWU) has criticized the management of M/s GVK Power Development for befooling the disturbed and affected people of Rattle HE Project, Drabshalla by making false promises.
Addressing a meeting of the Union, which was organized to discuss various issues related to the unemployment and development, its chairman, Joginder Bhandari, said that the Director, M/s GVK Power Development Hyderabad, during his recent visit to Kishtwar committed with the Rattle HE Project disturbed people that the organisation will accommodate Rs 1000 to each ration card holder besides, feed for animals and two 10 bedded hospitals, but nothing is visible till now.
Bhandari urged upon the management of GVK to provide permanent employment to one member of each family whose land has come in the said project and fix their salaries at par with the NHPC employees.
