Crackdown over menace of copying continues, 75 cases framed

JAMMU, Mar 25: Crackdown over menace of copying during board examinations in Rajouri and Poonch districts continues as Government authorities today framed 75 cases during Hindi/Urdu paper of class 10th. Huge quantity of copying material was also seized from examinees in different examination centres of the twin districts.
As per sources, a team led by Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Abdul Hamid Fani visited tenth class examination centre at Girls Higher Secondary School Rajouri and found some examinees resorting to unfair means after which two cases were framed in the centre whereas during visit in Boys Higher Secondary School Rajouri, a major copying bid was foiled and four cases were framed. Later team also visited Government Girls High School Jawahar Nagar and foiled another major bid of copying and framed cases against five examinees after they were found resorting to unfair means and copying in the paper.
A team led by DyCEO Nowshera visited Government High School Rajpur Kamila where four cases were framed as students were found indulged in unfair means in copying. Another team led by officials of Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education paid surprise visit to Government Higher Secondary School Doongi whereas a massive copying bid was foiled by inspection team and cases were framed against nine examinees.
A team of Jammu and Kashmir Police led by SDPO Mendhar, DySP Surinder Chowdhary visited different examination centres and foiled copying bids and got the cases framed from the concerned superintendents. Two students in GHSS Ghani (Centre no-4508) bearing roll no 4508005 and 4508006, four students in GHSS Sagra (centre no-4511) bearing roll number 4511001, 4511023, 4511028 and 4511036 and four students in GHS Chajjla (centre no-4510) bearing roll number 4510002, 4510014, 4510029 and 4510039 were found indulged in copying after which cheating cases were been framed through the concerned superintendents against all ten students which include four girls.
Later the team also visited GHS Kasblari in Mendhar and found examinees indulged in copying practice after which three unfair cases were also framed in centre number 4503 and the cases have been framed against the roll numbers 4503012, 4503049 and 4503065.
Beside framing cases several guides, copying material including book cuttings were recovered from different examination centres.
A team led by CEO Poonch, Chowdhary Lal Hussain visited different examination centres in Poonch and framed 30 cases of unfair means. Team also foiled major copying bid in Government Higher Secondary School Chandak and framed 16 cases whereas in Government High School Sathra seven cases were framed.
The team also found examinees resorting to unfair means in Government High School Fatehpoor Mandi where three cases were framed while in Government High School Sadra, four cases were framed.
