Srinagar, Feb 19: Army today said it donated blankets and solar lights among orphan children in South Kashmir’s Qazigund area of Kulgam district.
A defence spokesman said the children of Qazigund orphanage were provided succour in the form of blankets and solar lights which would help them face the winters better by the local Army unit.
“The initiative was undertaken at the behest of the orphanage administration which had approached the Army to help the little children,” he added.
