Crime Branch arrests absconder from Rajasthan

JAMMU, Aug 1: Crime Branch Jammu apprehended an Uttrakhand based absconder, who was wanted in a cheating case and had been evading his arrest for the last two years.
Special team of Economic Offences Wing, Crime Branch Jammu apprehended absconder accused – Mukesh Aggarwal, son of Chhitramal, resident of Lane number 07-10 Mohit Nagar, Extension Opposite Wadiya Institute Dehradun, Utrakhand from Rajasthan.
He was wanted in case FIR number 10/2013, under section 420,465,467,468,471, 120-B/RPC, read with 5/2 PC Act SVT 2006 Police Station Crime Branch Jammu.
The absconder was constantly evading his arrest by changing his locations outside the UT of J&K. He was on a run since last two years and the Court had issued warrant U/S 512 Cr PC against him for his arrest after charge sheet was produced against him by Crime Branch Jammu.
The Crime Branch Jammu planned, chased and arrested the absconder from Rajasthan in coordination with Rajasthan Police, brought him to Jammu and produced him before the court of law.
Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Jammu has arrested five absconders in the last eight weeks.
