JAMMU, July 17: A team of Crime Branch, Jammu raided and searched houses of the accused ZEO (Retd) Abdul Khaliq at village Gunthal, Surnakote, District Poonch and Mohd Ajwar Khan of village Gunthal, Surankote in connection with the case of their involvement in appointment through fake documents and preparing double service books of the same person in Education Department.
The searches were conducted as part of the investigation in case FIR number 21/2018 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471/RPC r/w 5(2) Prevention of Corruption Act . The searches, conducted in the presence of Magistrate- Imtiaz Ahmed Khan, Naib Tehsildar Buffliaz, were focused on collection of incriminating documents and evidences in the said case.
