JAMMU, Oct 15: Gangyal police arrested a criminal along with country made pistol and live cartridge.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia laid a naka near Model Town and intercepted a pedestrian who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered country made pistol and live cartridge from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Narvir Singh, son of Jagjit Singh of Upper Beli Charana District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 113/19 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
