JAMMU, Sept 6: Police arrested a criminal and recovered country made pistol and live round from his possession.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered country made pistol and live round from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Inderveer Singh alias Jaddu, son of Tajinder Singh of Raipur Satwari District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 96/19 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation initiated.
