JAMMU, Nov 23: Pacca Danga police today arrested a notorious criminal and recovered a sharp edged weapon from his possession.
The criminal identified as Rakesh Sharma alias Cobra son of Nanak Chand Sharma, a resident of Pir Mitha, was arrested from CPO Chowk this evening, police said.
At the time of arrest, police recovered a sharp-edged weapon (toka) from the possession of the criminal, who has been booked under Section 4/25 Arms Act at Pacca Danga police station.
Police parties headed by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Kulbir Handa.
The arrested criminal was being subjected to questioning.
