JAMMU, May 6: Bahu Fort Police arrested a criminal, who was wanted in Arms Act case.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma conducted raid in Bakshi Nagar area and apprehended a notorious criminal, who was at large since 2005.
The accused was identified as Vipan Bhoot, son of Romash Chander, a resident of Shakti Nagar District Jammu. He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 231/2003 under Sections 341 and 323 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Bahu Fort. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
