POONCH, Feb 17: Cross LoC trade at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point has picked up and it reached nearly Rs 3 crore today.
Official sources said that after several months, the trade has reached Rs 2.92 crore. Today 25 trucks loaded with red chillies and bananas crossed over to PoK from Poonch side. The value of the goods was put at Rs 69 lakhs while six trucks loaded with herbs and almonds wroth Rs 2.23 crore arrived here from PoK side. TFO Sushil Kumar from Indian side and TFO Mohd Afzal from Pak side were deployed to facilitate the trade.
