REASI, July 21: Despite increasing number of COVID-19 patients, people are not adhering to social distancing norms thus risking their lives as well as of others.
Such scenes of violating social distancing norms were witnessed at Reasi Bus Stand where people come from different areas for reaching their further destination.
However, because of no regulations and non-adherence of the time table by mini-buses of different routes, jam like situations are used to be seen at ever busy Reasi Bus Stand. In the hustle bustle, people were seen standing in groups and moving here and there.
According to the locals, this is a routine affair at Reasi Bus Stand notwithstanding repeated instructions by the Government and Health advisories for maintaining social distancing at public places in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
The locals have appealed the District administration to look into the matter and take necessary action for ensuring that social distancing norms are followed by those visiting the Bus Stand.
