CRPF cop dies of cardiac arrest

JAMMU, Dec 17: A Head Constable of 25 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today died of suspected cardiac arrest at Railway Station Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, the cop identified as Onkar Chand (44) son of Parkash Chand, resident of Una (HP) at present posted at Transit Camp, Channi (Jammu) was on leave and about to board a train to his home town when he suddenly collapsed on platform No 2 of Railway Station Jammu, this morning.
He said that cop was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital and his family members were informed.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
