CRPF donates blood for cancer patient

JAMMU, Aug 11: On a request received from Jammu by Kashmir based “Madadgaar”, CRPF donated blood to a cancer patient, admitted in hospital here.
Hansraj, a resident of Pouni Chak, Jammu, is suffering from Multiple – Myeloma (Cancer of plasma cells) and was in urgent need of blood. His son immediately informed CRPF help centre “Madadgaar” about the requirement and requested to arrange the blood.
CRPF Battalions/ Establis-hments based in Jammu promptly came into action. Immediately, two volunteer Jawans of 84 Battalion CRPF were brought to the concerned hospital where they donated blood for Hansraj and provided a sigh of relief to his family members.
Pertinent to mention that besides its operational responsibilities, CRPF is always pro-active for service of the people in different parts of the nation. With public service as its sole objective, help and service centre viz. “Madadgaar” of CRPF is functional in Kashmir and is providing all possible help and guidance to the people on their requests.
