CRPF flags off ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour

JAMMU, Jan 1: 160 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today flagged off a group of students from various schools of district Jammu on ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour.
The tour was formally flagged off this evening from Battalion headquarters in Jammu by KD Joshi, Commandant, 160 Battalion, CRPF in the presence of other senior officers of the battalion.
Briefing about the tour, a spokesman of the CRPF said that during the tour, the students will be shown various famous places of Bhuvaneshwar such as Raja Raji Temple, Mukteshwari Temple, Khandgiri, Udeygiri Jain Cave, Golden Triangle, Surya Temple and Jagannath Temple.
He said that the special part of this tour is that the entire distance from Jammu to Bhuvaneshwar and back will be covered through train. “On January 8, the group will start their backwards journey and on January 10, the tour will be formally flagged in at headquarters of 160 Battalion, CRPF,” he added.
