JAMMU, Dec 25: Commandant 33 Battalion, CRPF flagged off a group of 50 students (23 boys and 27 girls) on a tour to village Pransla, Tehsil Upleta, Distt-Rajkot, Gujarat for attending 18th “Rashtriya Shivir” on national integration.
The organizer Shree Vedic Mission Trust aims to acquaint the youth with real India, its civilization, culture, heritage, secularism and inculcate the feelings of national integration in them.
The young 27 girls and 23 boys from the schools of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu, Samba and Kathua assembled at 33 Battalion, CRPF at Preet Nagar, Gangyal, Jammu, three days in advance. The youngest participant girl amongst the children is 11 year old Poonam from district Doda.
They were provided various utility items like trolley bag, track suit, sports shoes, crockery, stationery, Manorama Year Book-2016 etc free of cost.
In 33 Battalion, CRPF, they interacted with Kuldeep Dhar, IG, Jammu Sector, CRPF and Narinder Singh, DIG (Ops) Jammu North, CRPF.
During interaction, IGP, CRPF Kuldeep Dhar advised the touring youth to grab the opportunity and acquaint them with cultural diversity of India and remain committed to nation’s progress by inculcating a sense of patriotism.
The batch of 50 students alongwith supervisory staff of CRPF left Jammu by the special AC-III tier coach of Jammu Tawi Ahmedabad Express from Jammu Tawi Railway Station today.
