Srinagar, Dec 24: The 29 Battalion CRPF under ‘Jashn-e-Chillai-Kalan’ today organized a debate, singing and painting competition here in which several youngsters participated.
The event was held by the 29 Bn, CRPF Srinagar to keep up with its tradition of being a front runner in providing a helping hand to the youth, sports persons and civilians
The Competition was inaugurated by Chhotan Thakur, Commandant, 29 Bn CRPF in the presence of Anil Kumar Jha, 2-I/C, Chanchal Pawana, Dy. Comdt and Monica Salve, AC, CRPF.
In the competition, a total of 25, including 10 girls from various schools and colleges, their guardians and teachers participated in the event.
All the participants were awarded Appreciation certificates and Medals. In addition, the winners and Runner ups in these competitions were awarded trophies.
Chhotan Thakur, Commandant, 29 Bn congratulated all the winners and participants for their enthusiasm.
He also emphasised the importance of such events and assured that such events will also be organized in future for more and more engagement with the youth and for providing them with greater opportunities to show their talent.
