JAMMU, Feb 28: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today inaugurated painting workshop at Jammu and Kashmir Zone Headquarter, Bantalab here for CRPF personnel who got injuries while discharging their duties.
Renowned artist KK Gandhi and cartoonist, Manoj Chopra have conducted the workshop. Earlier, Gandhi had conducted a lively interaction session with the jawans and emphasised moving the brush on canvas and giving the formation to it, brings happiness and contentment.
He demonstrated the fine art of conventional painting techniques and urged them to capture aesthetic journey using their creativity and imagination.
The workshop was inaugurated by Bhupinder Singh, DIGP (Adm) of J&K Zone in the presence of Pawan Kumar Sharma (DIGP), Nitu (DIGP) and other senior officers.
“Gandhi has attained the status of international artist, he normally uses bright colour and nomadic life in his paintings. He also painted Jammu’s ancient monuments and heritage sites. The efforts of renewed artists to associate with the heroes of CRPF who have sustained injuries in the course of duty, is deeply appreciated, said DIGP.
