SAMBA, Oct 31: A CRPF jawan died of dengue fever in Ghagwal area of Samba last night.
According to the information received, a CRPF jawan, who had come home on leave before Diwali, died in Upper Jasath locality of Ghagwal town last night. CRPF jawan Kamal Kishor, 29, son of Janak Raj resident Upper Jasath was ill for the past few days. After he was found to have symptoms of dengue fever, his relatives took him to a private hospital in Ludhiana for better treatment where he died last night.
At the same time, the last rites of the jawan were performed with full military honors in his native village.
