JAMMU, Oct 24: A Central Reserve Police Officer’s wife was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her rented accommodation in Nagrota area here today.
Police sources said that Police Station Nagrota received a telephonic call from Police Control Room (PCR) Jammu that a woman identified as Hem Lata (32) wife of PArmoud Kumar Yadav of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh at present 137 Alpha Battalion CRPF Camp Nagrota was brought dead in GMC Jammu by his husband, claiming he recovered her unconscious in her rented room.
Followed by this, the body of the deceased woman was shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu for post-mortem, he said, adding that inquest proceedings under section 194 BNSS have been initiated to ascertain the actual cause of the death of the woman.
