Srinagar, Feb 2: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man today committed suicide by hanging himself in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police said Head Constable Manoj Kumar Singh (belt number 913191619) of CRPF 179 battalion ended his life by hanging himself inside Ganjoo house near Town Hall, Sopore.
Body of the CRPF man was found hanging by his colleagues this morning. It was, however, not clear what prompted him to end his life. Police have initiated proceedings under Section 174 CrPC in this regard.
