SRINAGAR, May 7: A paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable posted at the house of Minister for Science and Technology, Imran Ansari, was injured in an accidental fire today.
A police spokesman identified the injured Constable as Devinder Singh of 44 Battalion of CRPF.
“He was performing duties at residential guard of Minister for Youth Services and Sports and IT in Qamarwari,” the spokesman said.
The CRPF man was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital and later shifted to Army’s 92-Base hospital at Badami Bagh Cantonment. His condition is stated to be stable.
