JAMMU, May 31: In an effort to extend assistance to underprivileged residents and promote the importance of health, Jammu Sector CRPF, 76 Battalion CRPF, collaborated with the J&K Health Department to organize a successful free medical camp at Shiv Mandir, Brahaman Mohalla, Chowadhi, Jammu.
Under the guidance of Mahesh Chand Ladhha, IG Sector Jammu, and with the participation of esteemed Medical Officers, Dr S Sowmiya and Dr Arpana Sharma, the camp provided free medical check-ups to around 160 civilians and distributed essential medicines to over 145 locals.
Rakesh Sethi, DIG Jammu Range, inaugurated the event, and TH Khan, Commandant-76 Bn, emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and hygiene practices.
The initiative received a positive response from the community, who expressed their gratitude and urged the CRPF to continue organizing such camps in the future.
