CRPF organises free medical camp at GBHSS Nowabad

JAMMU, Jan 10: Continuing the wellness of civilians, 76 Battalion CRPF in collaboration with J&K Health Department, organised a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme here today at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Nowabad.
The health camp was held under the guidance of Sandeep Khirwar, IG Jammu Sector and Ramesh Kumar, DIG Jammu Range.
The main objective of the camp was to reach out to the needy people of the area to provide free health care and make them aware about their health.
A team of 2 Medical Officers Dr S Sowmiya, 76 Battalion, CRPF and Dr. Rimpi Sangral, Medical Officer, conducted free medical check-ups of around 250 civilians and provided free medicines.
TH Khan, Commandant-76 Bn inaugurated the Civic Action programme and appealed to all people of the area to stay fit by doing physical exercises regularly. He sensitized them to maintain a healthy lifestyle & hygiene. Besides, he also elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining cordial relationships between locals & force.
Mahendra Singh 2IC, Rajesh Kumar Yadav 2IC, Karnail Singh Deputy Commandant, Debu Dhakarwal, Assistant Commandant, Mohan Shyam, Assistant Commandant of 76 Bn CRPF also participated in the camp.
The initiative drew positive response and was received well by the locals with the urge that CRPF to organize such camps in the future also.
