BHADERWAH, Mar 21: The 33 Bn CRPF here today organised a free specialised medical camp under ‘Civic Action Programme’ at village Kansar located at a height of 9000 ft above sea level.
Kansar village is inhabited by shepherds and is the remotest village of Bhaderwah where during emergency people have no other option than to trek 7 kms to reach Bhaderwah for medical facilities.
To help habitants of the village, 33 Bn CRPF organised a mega free medical camp at the hill top village wherein a team of 10 doctors and paramedical staff led by CMO CRPF, Dr Jayshree and BMO Bhaderwah Dr Mohd Ashraf Kuchay examined 300 patients mostly female.
All the patients were provided free medicines and medical tests.
Locals expressed gratitude to CRPF for reaching out to them for the first time and helping them in a big way.
