RAMBAN, Nov 17: The 84 Bn of CRPF under the aegis of Jammu Sector CRPF here today organized a free medical camp at village Digdol.
The Camp was inaugurated by N Ranbir Singh, Commandant 84 Bn CRPF in the presence of Lakhwinder, Asstt Cdt 84 Bn, Inderjeet Singh Asstt Cdt and P.S Mishra, Asstt Cdt 84 Bn, Bhodraj Raj, Vice Principal Govt High School Digdol, Bhagwan Singh Panch, Pyar Singh, ex Sarpanch Digdol,Gurjeet Singh, civil society member, prominent members of the village and others.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant of 84 Bn CRPF said that CRPF since its rising in 1939, has played an instrumental role in Nation building and safeguarding the unity and integrity of the Nation. He also highlighted the various social outreach programs undertaken by CRPF all over the country to establish better connection between the Force and local populace.
The camp was attended by more than 200 needy villagers including elderly persons, women and children of Digdol, Ramban.
Services of Dr Anu Gorke, SMO/DC 84 Bn and Dr Manish, MO, 137 Bn ensured the successful medical camp.
Locals were provided free medical treatment and medicines during the camp.
