NEW DELHI, June 3: Supported by pick up in demand in the spot market, crude palm oil prices higher by 0.20 per cent to Rs 508.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in July up by Re 1, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 508.90 per 10 kg in business turnover of 16 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June contract edged up by 50 paise, or 0.10 per cent to Rs 510.80 per 10 kg in 79 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by speculators amid pick up demand in the spot market, mainly influenced crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
