NEW DELHI, Sept 9: Crude palm oil prices rose further by 1.10 per cent to Rs 387.20 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators widened positions.
Besides, tight stocks position on restricted arrivals from producing belts supported the upside.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September month advanced Rs 4.20, or 1.10 per cent to Rs 387.20 per 10 kg in business turnover of 400 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October contracts added Rs 3.90, or 1.01 per cent to Rs 390.80 per 10 kg in 84 lots.
Market analysts said apart from a firming trend at spot market on rising demand amid restricted supplies from producing belts mainly kept crude palm oil prices higher at futures trade. (PTI)
