JAMMU, Oct 11: The State Government today constituted a high level committee with Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey as chairman to scrutinize the proposal/recommendations received from the Divisional Commissioners/Deputy Commissioners regarding providing of assistance and release of funds from the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.
The Committee will also issue guidelines governing the operation of the Fund.
With the Chief Secretary as the Chairman, the Committee will have three members including the Principal Secretary, Planning and Development Department, the Principal Secretary, Finance Department and the Commissioner/Secretary, Revenue Department.
