CSC to visit districts

JAMMU, Jan 6: The Cabinet Sub-Committee (CSC) constituted by the Government for examining the creation of new administrative units in the State will be visiting different districts during the next 7 days.
During the visit, the Committee would interact with the general public in the district Dak bungalows for eliciting their suggestions / demands in connection with the creation of “New Administrative Units.
The six member committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand  and members including Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies , Nawang Rigzin  Jora , Minister for PHE , Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Agriculture , Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Higher Education, Akbar Lone , Minister for Planning and Development and Employment , Ajay Sadhotra and  Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs,  Mir  Saifullah would be visiting Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban on January 7, Udhampur and Reasi  on January 8 and Poonch and Rajouri on January 9, Kathua and Samba on January 10, Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian  on January 11,   Baramulla , Kupwara and Bandipora on January 12 and Srinagar, Ganderbal and Budgam on January 13.
The programme of the visit of the Cabinet Sub- Committee in respect of the remaining districts shall be notified separately.
