CSC under PM-AJAY inaugurated in Samba

SAMBA, Jan 14: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today inaugurated Model Community Service Centre (CSC) at village Sangwali of Sub Division Ghagwal, established under SCA to SCSP of Centrally Sponsored Scheme Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Aabhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY).
In first phase total four number of CSC opened in the district Samba in villages Dabuz Sehzada, Badwal, Chalayri Kalan and Sangwali.
Deputy Commissioner informed that various facilities will be provided by the CSC centre to the public and also assured that this centre will provide each and every digital service at door step to ease the general masses to avail various online services.
“The idea behind the initiative is to provide all the G2C, B2C, insurance, Digital Literacy, Banking, Micro ATM services at door steps of citizens living in these SC Villages”, DC said.
DC also mentioned that in addition to providing services to the citizens, the CSCs are also creating local employment and are also being utilized for digital literacy programs.
During the programme special camps for age certificates, UDID cards, Ayushman Cards and eSharmcards were also created and distributed among the beneficiaries of this village.
A special medical camp for age certificate and UDID also held by Social Welfare Department in collaboration with Health Department Samba.
Among others SDM Ghagwal Ramkesh Sharma, DSWO Deep Kumar, Sarapnch and other PRI members were present among others on the occasion also.
