JAMMU, July 2: A deputation of Civic Safaikaramchari Union (CSU), Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today met Director, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), Jammu, K L Khajuria and put forth various demands of the Safaikaramcharies of ULBs, Jammu.
The deputation was led by its president, Rinku Gill, senior advisor, Jarnail Khokhar, Sanju Bullet, chairman, Sandhu, and Sohan Matoo, president, ULBs Safaikaramcharies Union, Jammu
The deputation put up various demands of the Karamcharies including regularization of daily wager Safaikaramcharies working in all institutions of local bodies since 1995 and also those who have completed seven years of regular service, release of 2 and a half days of extra salary, release of wages of casual labours directly into their Saving Accounts instead of paying cash and settlement of cases regarding SRO 43, before the Director.
The Director assured the deputation that regularization cases of daily wagers would be settled on priority. He also assured to release 2 and a half days of salary soon.
Vikas Matoo, Ravi Randhawa, Tarsem Mashi, Amit Khokhar, Yousaf, Lucky, David Sandhu, Kulvinder Khokhar, Ravi Khokhar and many others were part of the deputation.
