JAMMU, Mar 18: Civic Safaikarmchari Union (CSU) today warned to launch crusade against Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) authorities, if their demands were not conceded at the earliest.
Addressing a joint press conference, Rinku Gill, president, CSU and Suresh Sharma, State president, JKPDTU appealed the JMC authorities not to play with the sentiments of the employees particularly safaikarmcharis.
They flayed the anti-employees policy of the defeated candidates, who are trying to interfere in the working of the CSU.
Highlighting the demands, they demanded consideration of pending case under SRO-43, convening of DPC meeting at the earliest, closing of NGO system, enhancement of salary of casual basis from Rs 2,100 to Rs 3,700 and sanctioning of Sunday leave in their favour.
Among others present were Surinder Bhatti, Jarnail Khokhar, Vijay Anand, Jagdish Khokhar, Ram Chand, Ashwani Manga, Bittu Gill, etc.
