CT Group of Institutions offers scholarship schemes for meritorious, needy students

JAMMU, June 9: The CT Group of Institutions has announced to continue its scholarship schemes for meritorious and needy students.
These schemes include a Special Scholarship Scheme for first ten toppers of State boards, upto 100 percent scholarship on tuition fees based on Qualifying exams and Special CSR Scholarships Schemes for girls and students, whose fathers are no more in this world.
This was informed by Atin Garg, Head of Admission, CT Group of Institutions, while addressing a press conference, here today.
“Since its inception in 1997, CT Group of Institutions has been striding in the way to provide best of the facilities, education and a helping hand to their students. Keeping this in mind, we are continuing our scholarship schemes this year as well to benefit needy and meritorious students,” he said.
While elaborating, Mr Garg explained that they were providing 100 percent Tuition fee waiver to top ten State Toppers pursuing for higher professional degrees at the CT Group institutions. “We are providing 100 percent Tuition fee waiver to students under `Parent Less Child’ and `Only Girl Child’ while 50 percent waiver under `Father Less Child’ and `Aryana Scholarship Scheme’, are dedicated to girl child to encourage their merits,” he added and further said that under Central Government’s Post-metric Scholarship Scheme, the institutions provide scholarship to SC/ST students and upto 100 percent scholarship on tuition fees based on qualifying exams
Mr Garg informed that 55, out of 90 students from J&K, who got admission in CT Group of Institutions last year, were provided the scholarship, which is not a charity or discount but conditional.
Dr Anoop Beri, Director, Education, Planning & Development, CT Group of Institutions, claimed that CT Group was maintaining the highest quality standards in providing education which simply reflects in “A” grade by NAAC, a rank within top 14 promising Engineering College of Excellence for consecutive last 3 years, various International and Industrial tie ups and academic linkages with professional societies like CSI, ISTE. “We have our students placed at Larsen & Turbo, Mahindra & Mahindra, Lupin Pharma, TCS, Igate, John Deere and others,” he added.
Dr Anoop said that unlike other institutions, which offer admission on traditional lines, the CT Group has the facility of Psychometric test to know about actual taste of the students, who are suggested subjects as per their choice.
Pertinent to mention that CT Group of Institutions has more than sixteen college, affiliated to PTU, offering around 70 courses, including B Tech, Management, Journalism, Tourism, Hospitality, Fashion Designing and several others, except core medical courses.
