JAMMU, May 17: The College Teachers Association Jammu (Wing) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Dr Sanjay Verma for constituting four zonal bodies and advisory board of the Association.
Kathua zone was constituted with the nomination of Prof Jaswinder (GDC Kathua) as vice president, Prof Anirudh Sharma (GDC Kathua) as secretary, Prof Sumit as organizing secretary, Prof Amit (GDC Billawar), Prof Sandeep Choudhary (GDC Kathua) and Prof Rawan Kumar (GDC Samba) as the joint secretaries.
For Poonch-Rajouri Zone, Prof Abdul Karim (GDC Rajouri) was nominated as the vice-president, Prof Fateh Mohd (GDC Poonch) as secretary, Prof Rakesh Puri (GDC Rajouri) as organizing secretary, Prof Sarshad Hussain (GDC Mendhar) and Prof Nahem-Ul-Nissa (GDC Rajouri) as joint secretaries.
Udhampur-Reasi, Zone was constituted with Prof Kamal Kishore (GDC Udhampur) as the vice president, Prof Pankaj (GDC Ramnagar) as secretary, Prof Mool Raj (GDC Udhampur ) as organizing secretary and Prof Rajesh Sharma (GDC Reasi) as the joint secretary.
Doda-Bhaderwah Zone got Prof Nissar Bulla (GDC Bhaderwah) as the vice president, Prof Babu Ram Rakwal (GDC Doda) as secretary, Prof Ashiq Hussain (GDC Kishtwar) as the organizing secretary, Prof Tanveer Hussain (GDC Kilotran) and Prof S Ganai (GDC Ramban) as the joint secretaries.
Besides these zonal bodies, an Advisory board was also constituted with Prof Sudhanshu Sharma as the chairman, Prof Ravinder Tickoo as the vice chairman (Male) and Prof Neeru Dalla as vice chairman (Female) while Prof Sunita Sudan, Prof Sandhya Bhardewaj, Prof Mohinderpal Singh, Prof Rajinder Verma, Prof Attar Singh, Prof Rajesh Gupta, Prof Mohd Sadiq, Prof Zuber Ahmad, Prof Muneer, Prof I A Khan, Prof Sumnesh Singh Jasrotia, Prof Surinder Parihar, Prof Sanjay Singh, Prof P K Amla, Prof Anoop Kumar, Prof Romilla Malla, Prof Rakesh Gupta, Prof Satish Basotra, Prof Udey Bhanu and Prof Rajinder Singh were nominated as the members.
Prof Tasleema Akhtar and Prof Baljinder Kour were nominated as the joint secretaries as per the directions of the counselors.
