CTA meets Malik

SRINAGAR, June 12: J&K College Teachers Association (CTA) met Minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik, and expressed anguish over the delay in settling their placement cases.
While speaking, Minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik, stated that the higher education department has asked PSC to reconsider the riders attachment of the placement cases of over 500 college teachers.
The department was seized of the fact that the misplaced riders would create a piquant situation in the seniority of the college teachers, which would have long lasting repercussions for higher education, he added.
The delegation was led by president of the association, Dr Avinash Gupta and accompanied by Dr Satesh Bhan, general secretary, Prof Anjali Mahajan, Prof RS Jamwal, Prof BK Gandhotra, Dr CK Khajuria, Dr Neeraj Gupta, etc.
