JAMMU, Jan 31: The Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) Jammu and Kashmir won the national award and was adjudged as ‘CTEF Blooming State/UT’ in the 35th Annual Conference of the Foundation.
The Conference was organized by CTEF Punjab and Chandigarh in collaboration with Dev Samaj College of Education Chandigarh. A webinar on the topic “Emerging Trends in Education: Transforming the Global Scenario” was also organized on the occasion. The Conference started on January 29 and concluded on January 30.
After the technical sessions and deliberations of the Webinar, a National Board meeting of all CTEF State Chapters’ presidents and secretaries was also held. Among various presidents and secretaries who participated in the Annual Board meeting from different states, were the CTEF J&K UTpresident Dr Jaspal Singh Warwal and UT secretary Dr Ramzan Ali.
As customary, the CTEF Annual State Awards were declared during the valedictory session of 35th Annual Conference on 30th January for various categories of awards as unanimously adjudged by the Jury. The CTEF J&K won the national award and was adjudged as ‘CTEF Blooming State/UT’. This was third time that the CTEF Jammu & Kashmir State won the national award on the basis of performance in the field.
