JAMMU, Aug 8: Central University of Jammu celebrated its 14th Foundation Day by organizing an impressive and colorful function, in the university auditorium, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Sanjeev Jain – Vice Chancellor CUJ, emphasized the significance of the Foundation Day and shared insights about the university’s functioning. He appealed students, staff and faculty to renew their commitment to emphasizing a shared vision and direction. He expressed optimism that the University could achieve greater heights through teamwork, dedication and a strong sense of belonging.
Earlier, Prof Yashwant Singh, Registrar CUJ, presented a formal welcome address and highlighted that in just 14 years, CUJ has experienced rapid growth in infrastructure, academics, placements and student achievements. This progress, he noted, is a testament to the Vice Chancellor’s leadership, the hardworking faculty and dedicated staff.
The founder members of the University, including Vikas Gupta, Assistant Registrar also expressed their views about the functioning of the University. The event garnered significant attendance from faculty, staff, and students, reflecting the strong engagement and involvement within the CUJ community.
