JAMMU, Oct 6: Jammu divisional office employees of the Academy of Art Culture and Languages today staged protest dharna against the alleged callous attitude of the administration concerned which is misguiding and misleading the innocent staff with regard to their promotions in the regular DPC of the Department.

President of employees union Ramesh Singh said there was great load on employees in view of ongoing scheduled and without schedule calendar while there was great shortage of employees due to non-recruitment for the past so many years. He added that presently there was no Librarian, no Cultural Officers, no Editors, no Exhibition Officer and even there was great shortage of peons, chowkidars and sweepers as well.
The agitating employees demanded conduct of DPC immediately besides initiating measures for starting New Pension Scheme which was announced by the former Cultural Minister.
