JAMMU, Sept 12: Poets mesmerized the audience by reciting their beautiful poems in Dogri, Hindi, Punjabi, Pahari, Urdu, Gojri and Kashmiri as the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized a multilingual Mushaira at K L Saigal Hall, here today.
Those, who recited their poems, included Dr Gian Singh, Brij Mohan, Susheel Baigana, Usha Kiran, Dr Nirmal Vinod, Sharad Sahney, Krishan Sharma, Shakti Singh, Dr Baljit Raina, S Bhupinder Bhargav, S Rajpal Singh Mastana, Balvinder Singh, Avtar Kour, Antar Neerav, Vidya Rattan Aasi, Arsh Sehbai, Sarwar Chauhan and Shamima Choudhary.
Vidya Rattan Aasi presided over the Mushaira while Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary of the Academy, threw light on the proposed programmes related with promotion of art, culture and languages in near future. Prof Rita Jatinder was the chief guest on the occasion.
