Cut in LPG price to make life of common people comfortable: Trehan

JAMMU, Aug 30: Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, Ritika Trehan today said that reduction in domestic gas cylinder prices by Rs. 200 and adding of 75 lakh new connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will make life of the common people more comfortable.
She said that government’s decision to slash cooking gas price by Rs. 200 per cylinder was PM Modi’s Raksha Bandhan gift to women.
In a handout the BJP leader said that the decision will benefit 33 crore consumers and will provide a big relief for the poor and middle class families.
She further said that this price cut is also applicable to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) who will now get a combined subsidy of Rs. 400.
