DODA, Dec 3: Conservator of Forest (CF) Chenab Circle Doda, Sandeep Kumar along with Divisional Forest Officer Bhaderwah, Mohd Ayoub Khan, Deputy Director Forest Protection Force J8 Doda, Mohinder Singh Jamwal and Range Officer Bhalesh, Naveen Singh Bhau here today visited Chilli area of Bhalessa Range and Tanta area of Chiralla Range and conducted an extensive tour of Bhalessa and Chiralla.
During visit, the CF Chenab talked to the locals of Tanta and Bhalessa and sought their co-operation to save the forest wealth.
He also emphasised on forest protection and conservation.
The visiting officers seized 20 mechanical chain saw cutters from different areas of Bhalessa Range.
The CF Chenab also took a serious note of forest damages and ensured full co-operation at any level.
He said that if any employee is found involved in any kind of illegal activity, he will be strictly dealt.
The CF Chenab also took stock of fire wood depots and directed Range Officer Bhalessa to issue fire wood to the needy people for winter season on feasible rates.
