JAMMU: Chief Vigilance Commissioner, PL Gupta on Saturday met Governor NN Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here.
Gupta briefed him about the special efforts which are being made by the J&K State Vigilance Commission to dispose off all pending inquiries and to enhance the accountability of the administrative machinery.
The Governor advised the Chief Vigilance Commissioner to speed up the processes of the Commission to ensure that transparency is introduced in the functioning of the public institutions and the corrupt elements, particularly those occupying senior echelons, are effectively dealt with. (AGENCIES)
