JAMMU, June 20: In a significant development, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPPL) has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s) with Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) for off-take of power from its two major hydro projects i.e. Pakal Dul (1000 MW) and Kwar (540 MW) Hydro Electric Projects at Raipur, Chhattisgarh today.
These agreements were signed by R A Pathak, ED (RA&PM) on behalf of CSPDCL and Amrik Singh, General Manager (Planning) on behalf of CVPPPL in presence of officers of NHPC Limited, RHPCL and CSPDCL. The PPA’s are valid for a period of 40 years from the date of commercial operation of these projects.
