JAMMU, Sept 12 : The Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) were today signed between the Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL) and Jammu & Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL), here today.
The agreements were signed for off-take of 13% power (12% free power& 1% for LADF) from its Kiru (624 MW) Hydro Electric Project at CVPPL Corporate Office, Jammu, J&K.
This Agreement was signed by Neeraj Sharma, CE (Trading) on behalf of JKPCL & Amrik Singh, Group General Manager (Planning) on behalf of CVPPL in presence of Yasin Mohd. Choudhary, Managing Director (JKPCL) and Ramesh Mukhiya, Managing Director (CVPPL) and senior officers of CVPPL & JKPCL.
The PPA is valid for a period of 40 years from the date of Commercial Operation of this project.
