KISHTWAR, Sept 10: A deputation led by Mashood Ahmed Mathoo, chairman, Chenab Valley Welfare Forum (CVWF) met S C Gupta, Managing Director, CVPP(Pvt) Ltd a joint venture company here and apprised him about several issues, viz unemployment, poverty, and development of district Kishtwar.
The deputation demanded scraping of age limit of 30 years fixed for youth by Chenab Valley Power Projects Ltd for employment and fixation of age limit in concurrence with age limit fixed by the Government, jobs for land oustees in the projects, starting of air service to Kishtwar etc.
Those who accompanied the deputation were Farooq Ahmed Sheikh, Shahid Hussain Kraipak, Mohd Yasin Malik and Amarjeet Singh and others.
