CWC organizes convention, raises issues

JAMMU, Apr 4: Central Working Committee (CWC) Jammu of All J&K Plus Two PSC Lecturer Association organized one day convention which was presided over by Manjeet Chib, Convener CWC Jammu.
The convention was attended by district representatives of CWC Jammu and hundreds of delegates from different higher secondary schools of Jammu division.
Dalbir Singh was invited as chief guest and Raphael Bernard was guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjeet Chib Convener CWC Jammu informed the gathering regarding the developments pertaining to ACP and said that the PSC Association has submitted a suitable proposal of ACP to Education Department that has been recommended for financial approval. Chib has sought the intervention of Lt Governor for extending the benefits of ACP to Plus 2 cadre.
“We have also approached to Administrative Secretary recently seeking redressal of all the grievances of Plus 2 cadre. The demand has been accepted by the department and are receiving positive response” he further added.
Other speakers expressed their views for the welfare of Plus 2 cadre.
Rakesh Chibber and others members delivered presentation lecturers on the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 where under the cadre members were sensitized to be an ambassadors for effective implementation of the NEP 2020 as per its mission and vision.
District representatives also deliberated over the education scenario. The delegates expressed serious concern over non availability of the benefits of career progression. They said that denying nation builders from the benefits of assured career progression is sheer injustice and sort of exploitation with nation builders.
All the members of the CWC viz Rishi Manhas, Sandeep Sharma, Ranjeet Singh Manhas, Suresh Gouria, Brijnandan Singh Jamwal, Sunil Dubey, Dr Sanjay Arora, Arvinder Kour, Amit Kumar, Vinod Bamrotra, Sanjay Singh, Pankaj Sawhney, Imtiyaz, Rakesh Chibber, Sanjeev Gupta and Sandeepan Gupta participated in the convention.
