KISHTWAR, Feb 4: Construction Workers’ Labour Union (CWLU), Dulhasti Power Station, in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its president, JL Parihar, highlighted their demands.
The meeting urged the management to immediately settle their long pending demands, which include issuance of Identity Cards, wage slips, EPF statements, re-instatement of terminated workers, enforcement of ESI scheme, payment of underground allowance, etc.
The workers expressed serious concern over the callous attitude adopted by the Dulhasti management towards their demands. They alleged that despite apprising the management of their demands many times, the latter even did not bother to respond.
The meeting demanded the administration to provide justice to poor labourers by redressing their long pending genuine demands.
