CWWA celebrates 23rd anniversary

JAMMU, June 23: CRPF Wives Welfare Association (CWWA) celebrated its 23rd anniversary here at Group Centre CRPF Bantalab.
The anniversary was celebrated under the supervision of Shalini Singh, Head CWWA Group Centre CRPF Bantalab Jammu.
On the occasion, Dr Sunanda Raina, Principal GMCH was the chief guest, while Anita Baranwal Vice Head RCWA CRPF J&K Zone was special guest. Besides, Dr Shivani Chauhan Head CWWA CRPF Jammu Sector, Sunita Singh, wife of  Dr VK Singh IG (Medical) Composite Hospital Bantalab and families of officers, subordinate officers and personnel of various institutions of CRPF and families of martyrs of the force were also present.
Various sports, mela and cultural activities were organized to celebrate the occasion in which different presentations were given which were relished by ladies and children. Ladies and children of the camp premises participated in various programs and presented CWWA song, welcome dance, martial arts demo by children, thali dance, group dance, punjabi dance, fashion show and other such programs.
On the occasion, the participants of Summer Camp 2018, vocational training and other cultural programs were given certificates.
As per the directions of DIG (Welfare) Directorate CRPF, New Delhi, a FDR of Rs 50000 on behalf of organization ‘Ehsas’ was given to Keshaw Sharma, son of Late HC/GD Tilak Raj Sharma by Shivani Chauhan Head CWWA CRPF Jammu Sector and Shalini Singh Head CWWA Group Centre CRPF Bantalab.
Sudesh Kumari, wife of Late HC/GD Tilak Raj Sharma, Madhu Devi, wife of martyred Ct/GD Inderjit of 83 Battalion CRPF and Nisha Kumari, daughter of martyred Ct/GD Mohinder Lal of 55 Battalion CRPF were also honoured by chief guest Sunanda Raina Principal GMCH Jammu.
