KATHUA, Jan 24: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal, today inaugurated a Cyber Cell in the District.
A statement said Additional SP Kathua, Senior Prosecuting Officer, ADO DPO Kathua, incharge Cyber Cell SI Subham Mahajan among other officers accompanied SSP during the inauguration ceremony.
Addressing media persons, SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal, said that inaugurating cyber cells in each district is one of the key initiatives taken by the ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain.
“This dedicated cyber cell, equipped with advanced technology, aimed to combat cyber threats and safeguard the public against online frauds,” he said.
The SSP Kathua appealed people to approach cyber cell for reporting the cyber crimes.
