Cyber Cell Jammu recovers fraudulently transacted amount

JAMMU, July 5: The Cyber Cell of Jammu and Kashmir Police today recovered a hard-earned amount of Rs 86000 belonging to an individual that was fraudulently transacted by his driver into the latter’s account.
A Cyber Cell official said that a written complaint was received from an individual who reported loosing Rs 86000 from his account without his knowledge.
On receipt of the complaint, the Cyber Cell launched an in-depth enquiry into the matter and got to know that the amount was fraudulently transacted by the complainant’s driver into his account since he had the access of all the passwords of the mobile phone of the victim.
During investigation, the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu acted swiftly and ultimately recovered the fraudulently transacted amount.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
